The size and shape of the implant is selected taking into account the patient’s wishes, thoracic form, its diameter, the breast ptosis, location of the nipple, natural size, shape, and symmetry of the breasts, patient’s body weight, constitution, and height. Round-shaped implants are an ideal choice for women with firm, good- and round-shaped natural breasts wishing a simple breast enlargement and push up effect. Teardrop (anatomical) implants are an ideal chose for women who have the breasts of the similar shape. In addition, these implants are a good option for patients wishing less fullness in the upper part of the breast. The implants can be filled with saline fluid or silicone gel.
About Surgery
Breast augmentation surgery is done under general anaesthesiaand takes about 2 hours. Various incisions for inserting the implant are used (under the glanda, through the armpit, around the nipples). The implant is placed in a lodge formed in the breast tissues, which can be above the muscle, under the breast gland, under the muscle fascia, partly under the muscle and partly under the gland (dual plane method). The surgery is finished by putting the implant to lodge and remove any remaining tissue fluids. Wound stitched and put on a special bra. The patient is left for one day in the care clinic, and on the next day, is discharged to home, after wound is banding.
Post Surgery
Breasts remain swelled for about 2-3 weeks after the surgery. Some pain can be experienced for a few days. Bandages over the surgical sites should be changed every 2–3 days. The stitches are removed on the 10th–14th day after the surgery. They may also appear higher than usually. However, in several weeks swelling disappears and implants adapt to body and lay in the natural position. After the breast enlargement surgery patients are required to wear a special bra for 2 month, 24 hours per day. They are also advised to avoid sports or any other intensive physical activities for at least 2-3 months after the surgery. The patient can return to work within a few days if her occupation does not require strenuous movements and arm raising.
Breast Augmentation with fat
A breast augmentation with fat transfer is a surgical procedure that reshapes your breasts into the shape and size you desire by using your body’s own fat. Fat from another part of the patient’s body is used to create the improved breast volume.Fat transfer consists of 2 procedures in one – firstly, removing the fat from other body areas, such as the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, or flanks – via liposuction – and then, re-using the same, purified, fat to enhance and reshape the breasts.
About Surgery
The procedure consists of two main steps – fat collection and fat transfer. During the first step the physician performs liposuction in the donor spots that you discussed and chose together with the physician. It must be such spots that contain sufficient amount of fat. Usually it is such areas as belly, legs or waist. During the collection of the fat the physician accurately collects the fat by modelling and evenly contouring the chosen spot. Fat collection is performed by using modern advanced equipment, which is gentle and ensures vitality of the collected fat cells. Then fat is separated, treated and prepared for injection into breasts.During the second step the fat is accurately injected into breasts in a way that they would integrate into current fat and other tissues.
