Deposit, Refund, & Cancellation Policy

BALTICLINIC posts its deposit, refund, and cancellation policy that is documented on the Health Questionnaire (HQ) and the Consent Form. This policy applies to all surgeons and surgery types at BALTICLINIC. If you have any questions regarding these policies, please contact your patient coordinator.

Deposit and Booking Bariatric or Plastic Surgery:
 

Security Deposit. A deposit of 500.00 Eur must be made on the day of scheduling your surgery. If you make a deposit via wire transfer or direct deposit, please fax a copy of the wire transfer or the direct deposit receipt with your name on it to +353852043440 ensure proper credit. 

 

Remaining Balance. The rest can be paid at the clinic before surgery.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy: Security Deposit & Remaining Balance Deposit

Due to the preparation costs, (i.e., hotel reservations, booking time and hospital room, scheduling transportation, nutritional consultation, scheduling of hospital staff, supplies ordered based on surgery schedule, etc.), all refunds will be handled based on the following criteria:

1. If surgery is CANCELLED due to a medical condition discovered during the pre-operative period or if it is determined that the operation cannot proceed due to safety reasons, a refund may be provided minus any costs incurred by BALTICLINIC, including but not limited to transportation, hotel accommodations, pre-­op test(s), doctor fees.

2. If surgery is POSTPONED due to a medical condition discovered during the pre­-operative period, a full credit of the security deposit will be applied towards subsequent surgery minus any costs incurred by BALTICLINIC, including but not limited to transportation, hotel accommodations, pre­-op test(s), doctor fees, etc.

3. If the client cancels the surgery within 15 days or less before the ORIGINAL surgery date then deposit will be forfeited.

4. If the client cancels the surgery within 31 to 45 days before the ORIGINAL surgery date then a 60% refund minus any costs incurred by BALTICLINIC, including but not limited to transportation, hotel accommodations, pre-­op test(s), doctor fees.

5. If the client cancels the surgery with 46 days or more before the ORIGINAL surgery date then a full refund will be provided minus any costs incurred by BALTICLINIC, including but not limited to transportation, hotel accommodations, pre­-op test(s), doctor fees.

6. If surgery is canceled because the patient fails to comply with BALTICLINIC’s requirements (payment, consent forms, documentation, etc.), it will be subject to a cancellation fee of 35% of the total deposit cost.

7. If the patient does not comply with the pre­-operative instructions given by medical staff, it will be subject to a cancellation fee of 35% of the total deposit cost.

 

8. If surgery is rescheduled, all cancellation rules and policies apply to the ORIGINAL scheduled date.

9. All cancellations must be received by BALTICLINIC writing, via email or phone.

10. Please allow ~8 to 12 weeks for processing refunds.
